I just emailed them about that, thanks for the suggestion!
So even if they are just cut stock springs would it be worth it? Whats it cost to have springs cut a local place?

from my minitruckin and lowrider background suspension tech. springs are always kinda squishy, ie they ride like factory but not the greatest cornering. I dont think they would make a great deal of cornering differences over stock, not as much as strut bars. Also if u put bigger wheels u might have rubbing probs with soft springs. If all u want is an inch i would just cut'em, thats what i'm gonna do. Itll make the ride a little stiffer and corner better. 1 wrap of coil is all that is needed to get an inch, no big deal. If your gonna autoccross though i would get adjustable coil over or something like that. Matt if u decide to chop'em let me know and ill come over and help ya, beleive me ive chopped a million, all i ever drove is lowriders until i decide i wanted to go fast and i bought a td.

I'm using 215/50's so they are smaller than stock so no problems there. Oh, well I still have 225/50 BFG drag radials for when I go to the track though.

How do you cut springs?

take the front spring strut assy out fo the car, use a compressor to squeeze the spring together, take the top nut of slowly release pressure on the spring, i uasully cut the top of the spring, just go straight down from where the coil stops, or as close as possible, thats one wrap, or might need to one and a half as uasully there is a dead wrap(spring is flattened against the coil under it) and use a cut off tool and grind away, or a angle grinder if u need. Put it all back together. Ive have good successs upgrading to monroe sensatracs or similar with cut springs so u might wann pickem up. on the back take off the shocks, support the axle with a jack and jack it up a little might have to take off the panhard bar or sway bar. Let the jack down slowly and th e coils will fall out, repeat same as front. on the back if the wraps are spaced farther apart might wanna try goin half at a time. but remember the suspension will settle a little over night. If u cut the rear though be careful of using air shocks if u pump them up too much and hit a big bump the spring could fall out, but with only an inch worth of cutting shouldnt be a problem.

I have spare rear springs, but no fronts. This sounds pretty easy and straight forward, thanks!
