Russ, you are right, there is a difference in the later knuckles where the ball joint mounts, but it is a vertical difference. The ball joint pickup is cast 3/4" lower in the 91+ knuckles which is a good thing and it helps keep control arms closer to paralell when we lower the cars. However, it doesn't change the fore/aft positioning.

One other thing to think about. The bushings made for the cast arms are made for Moog, Elgin, Spicer, etc. by all the same company. I even sell these to people who want them. I even added a cast arm suspension to my 1986 k-car Relaint turbo Wagon. What I found out was these polyurethane bushing that fit the cast arms do not fit very well. Did any of you find they fit a little loose? Too loose. Maybe it was just my car, doner was a 93 Spirit. I was even thinking about pulling it back apart and hand making some or changing to 1989-90 control arms since "I KNOW" those bushings are made and fit perfect.

The Moog bushings I used seemed OK. I don't recall them being particularly loose or anything. I just remember the stockers being a real joy to remove.

I put a set of Moog bushings in about a year ago and they seemed to fit fine. Last month I had the control arms back off and the bushings just fell out. I couldn't believe how loose they are. That's after maybe 1,000 miles at the most. I'm hoping they squish out a little and fit better when they are torqued into the K-frame. They do seem to feel fine while driving the car, not clunking or moving around that you could notice.

Mine pressed into the arms snugly and well. 91 Sundance arms, Moog bushings.

I had to use grease and a hammer to get my MOOG's into the cast arms. I don't know how they are now, but I'll be taking them off to go back to the stamped arms eventually...

Johnny, maybe another "product" in the making for the cast arms? I don't need them, but if the ones from MOOG aren't as good as we are lead to beleive, I'd rather get a quality product from you than a large company that could give a crap less. That's just my opinion though....

Do not think I'd make them as of right now. If most people are not having problems, then the cheaper moog ones should be fine. Quality of the material is good, it's just my moog ones were a loose fit.
