195/60r15 was stock on the pizza wheels on the E-class Lebaron. The offset might not be correct on the later wheels, so spaceres may be needed.

It;s typical for rims to rub like that. I installed 15" pizzas on the turismo and for a while I was curious as to why my inner splash guards had black marks on them. It was because of cutting the wheel too sharp, as well as having blown out shocks and struts. I had 195/50/r-15's on and they still did this. It's just a thing you have to watch out for, and I just try to not take turns so sharp anymore or steer real hard to the right or left. I assume that once I install my KONI's in the summer and do some lowering with the coilover setup that it's going to even be worse, but if I have to I may switch to a 40 tire.
