since i got eggshells from the junkyard, the tires have been rubbing on the rails and the inner splash guards. the tires that are on the wheels are P205\60\15. should i use wheel spacers or go with P205\55\15 tires?

I'm guessing on the LeBaron? 205/60's should be stock, or darn close. Unless it's rubbing severely, I wouldn't worry about it. Most of the cars rubbed lightly from the factory, they called it "friendly interference" I believe. Can you actually hear/feel it, or are you just seeing the marks in the wheel wells?

195/60r15 was stock on the pizza wheels on the E-class Lebaron. The offset might not be correct on the later wheels, so spaceres may be needed.

i saw a good pair of pizzas on a turbo z in the junkyard the other day, they had 205\60\15 and im thinking that it still rub. also saw laced wheels and they had 205\60\15 too. i would like to have a nice set of stock chrysler wheels and ever since the eggshells rub, i dont think i can go a bigger size.

Ok, bottom line, all the stock 15" Chryco wheels were the same dimensions. The CS/Shelby Crabs, CSS, LeMans, and Fiberide wheels were a half inch wider, but the backspacing was the same. If it's rubbing that badly, you need to have your front end checked out.

It;s typical for rims to rub like that. I installed 15" pizzas on the turismo and for a while I was curious as to why my inner splash guards had black marks on them. It was because of cutting the wheel too sharp, as well as having blown out shocks and struts. I had 195/50/r-15's on and they still did this. It's just a thing you have to watch out for, and I just try to not take turns so sharp anymore or steer real hard to the right or left. I assume that once I install my KONI's in the summer and do some lowering with the coilover setup that it's going to even be worse, but if I have to I may switch to a 40 tire.

from the way it hits and rubs, i get the feeling for not putting them on. it just doesnt look right. from talking to a friend, i'll be putting the eggshells back on. i guess a lil rub wont hurt the tires or car.
