Hi
I was wondering if the lowering springs that fit an 89 GTC are the same in every aspect for the later daytona's, say 89 or 91 shelby's. Reason I ask is there is a set on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...527925101&rd=1

and i was just making sure they will fit before i bid on them.

also, with that ebay auction, do those suspension techniques springs lower the car 1" or is that false?

thanks, Justin

I'm sure it won't help you now, but they are pretty much the same. You'd need to verify the rate by measuring the diameter of the spring wire and counting the number of coils. The calc is available online...

Johnny at polybushings.com had some custom ones made for his wagon for about $120 I believe. They were 20% stiffer and 1" lower.

The ST and eibach's typically lower the stock base model cars 1", the performance models may lose .5" or actualy gain some if their springs are wasted.
