On my 85' turbo z my "power limited" light is always on. I've came up with a couple of conclusions 1. It has something to do with my vacuum line that has a leak. and 2. It has something to do with my brother shorting out the electricals and blowing eveery single fuse(which I have not yet replaced all of them). If I'm right then how do I fix this, if not then what could the problem be. Thanx

If your power limited light is on, there will be codes stored in the computer. Retrieve them (turn key off-on-off-on-off-on) and that will help you determine where to look.

Your power loss lamp will emit a series of flashes to reveal a code. Example: Flash*short pause*Flash*Flash*Flash*long pause would read as code 13, which I'm willing to bet will be one of your codes. www.minimopar.net for more in depth info. I believe there are 5 trouble codes that will cause the lamp to stay on while driving, each of which will put the logic module into 'Limp Mode', meaning one or more sensors is far enough out of range to force the computer to disregard info from that sensor and basically fill in the blanks based on info from other sensors. A vacuum leak would cause an irregular signal from the MAP Sensor, setting code 13.

Now the question I must ask: WHAT was shorted out to cause EVERY fuse to blow?
