On the MAP sensors in my cars, the Black/Blue wire is sensor ground and the Green/Red wire is the MAP signal.

I've found that a 2-bar MAP outputs about 2v (0vac-0psi) with the ignition 'on' and engine 'off'; .75v (15 in/hg) at idle, .25 (20 in/hg) full decel, and 4.2v at 14 psi boost. I live at ~4500 ft elevation so you're results may vary a little.

Well i checked the voltage, 2.39 @0psi(key on engine not running) and idle at about 800rpm ish and it was 4.93V!!!! i had to cut the harness and rewire it in so i think this might be the problem, the sensor was good when i had it on my other car. i checked it across the redwire(has a stripe) and black(has a stripe)

4.93v- are you sure you weren't probing the 5v supply from the SBEC? On my 90 T1 minivan, the signal wire is the middle one.
