also, so ill just take the green and black wire from the 3.5 dash speakers and splice them in with the door speakers.

They SHOULD already be "spliced" in. They should be a direct hookup. Try that before anything else. Also, yes, you only need green and black for the new speakers. I did my friends MaZ TC that way.

well i figured out what the problem was, for some reason the speakers just dont work. i hooked up a ghetto pair, and it work great. but im confused, because the system was never very loud because my grandma is the original owner. unless she was into some heavy metal stuff hahahaha
