Just a quick question here.. Will an alternator from a 91 TBI shadow fit the bill for a 89 Daytona Shelby? I don't see why it wouldn't, but I wanted to make sure before I ripped this one off....

Yes, it would fit.

Unless you're using a BIG 5.0 oil filter where BOSCH alternator might have problem to fit because is it physically bigger than Denso alternator.
