LOL alls I can suggest is to find the actual alarm module, and unplug the harness.....

my guess it would be located somewhere underneath the dash???
maybe someone who actually has a factory alarm can let ya know.

Have you tried unlocking the car with the door key lock cylinder? They have the disarm switch connected to the back of the lock cylinder. If the driver's side lock does not disarm it, try the passenger door lock cylinder. If that does not work; remove one of the door trim panels and locate the disarm switch connector(rear part of the door) and "jumper the two wire terminals on the connector and the alarm should turn off.

It would probably be a good idea to buy a remote transmitter for the alarm. It does not sound like it is bad, just activated by accident.

First, try the security alarm self diagnostics. Get in the car, close all doors. Turn the key from OFF to ACC Three times (same as checking engine codes, except turn to ACC instead of ON). Follow these instructions to check out the alarm system. http://www.pbase.com/rmscott/factory_security
Disregard "Fig. #3" on page 4, it's for a AC & AY body car.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT try to remove the control module unless the car is running.
Also read these two threads, (they had a similar problem):
factory alarm
Factory alarm

Good Luck & Merry Christmas.

So, what happens if you do? I don't want to be the first to try. I hear it could be bad things.

They don't make a remote for our alarms. I have often wondered if the "Remoter Keylesss Entry Module" for the AC & AY Body shown in figure #3 could be adapted to work on our system. http://www.pbase.com/rmscott/image/29092784
It might even be a plug &play. The lamp outage module and Theft Alarm Module look to be the same.

Sorry for not explanining the DO Not remove the alarm module. If removed without the car running, the car will not start, without re-installing the module. If you remove it with the car running, it de-activates the whole alarm system and everything works as though the car never had a alarm system.

I doubt that the alarm module is bad on your car. It is probably one of the switches that is bad. Running the self diagnostics and opening/closing the doors & Hood will tell you which one or ones are bad.

Its funny how the one day the alarms in these cars cause a problem then suddenly they want it to be completely removed. They decide this AFTER they figure out how to use it and disable it, etc.
