I tried replacing the dash bulbs in my omni with LED's and it was a complete failure. I bought the inverted cone LED's that supposedly throw a more dispersed light...well not quite.

The LED's worked fine but the dash was VERY dim and had a blue tint. I got frustrated at not being able to see the cluster and went back to the old filament bulbs.

Also, LED's have a polarity and it took a couple of installs to get all the bulbs working and not installed backwards. It was not clear as to the direction of the current on the back of the dash PCB.

I bought from superbrightleds.com if it helps.

yeah there is a thin green film in the cluster and it helps if you take it apart and sand it down.

actually there are 5 little bulb covers under the backing plate and the under plate is actually a green plastic. i just took the cluster apart. i sure if you paint it white it will look decent. the turn signals and idiot lights all have printed color on the outside plate so changeing bulb color there does nothing. cant get red turn signals without popping out the little plastic insert.
