The reverse light switch is combined with the nuetral safety switch. Its a 3 wire connector on the front of the trans. Probibly closer to the drivers side of center on the front of the trans. The center wire is the neutral safety wire. That wire gets grounded to the trans in park and nuetral to crank the engine. The other 2 wires are the reverse light wires. Try jumping them together and see if the lights come on. If they don't come on get a test light and check the wires for power. 1 of them should have power on it with the key on.

I had a similar problem with my 93 Baron. I had volts to the bulbs, so I wasn't sure what was going on. But the fix was rather simple. I just added two ground wires to the sockets. Everything works great now.

I've found that the liscense plate and both reverse lights share the same ground. And mine was bad at the point of the factory splice.

thanks guys, awsome advice. i grounded the two outer wires and the lights came on : )

so i grabbed aswitch from a car at the wreckers and everything works awsome aside from a blown passenger bulb, but i do have 12V and a ground when in reverse so i'll pick up a bulb tomorrow

thanks for the sound advice
