I have an '88 Lancer Es with power seats. I also have a set of Daytona Sport Seats (the ones with the electrical ajusters in the thigh support). Is the switch "plug and play", or am I in for a lot of cut and splce?

Mounting points are different. But it can be adapted, I put lancer seats in a daytona, however the bracket needed to be drilled out.

I put Daytona enthusiast seats in an 88 Shadow, I had to switch the tracks over for some reason(it was awhile back) and they fit pretty tight but it wasn't too hard.

The wiring wasn't there, I always planned on wiring it myself but sold the car to a friend.
