GLHS to 87' CSX conversion( NEED HELP BAD!!!)

i just ordered a 87 CSX computer for my omni, right now it has the GLHS computer in it. In the paper i got that explains how to convert it to 87' CSX, in one of the steps it says to "remove a black wire, and attatch the black map wire to this" does it mean to connect the wire so it will go back into the plug or so it will connect to the wire that will go back up to the wire harness????
