I was looking at some of those grounding kits on ebay that has like 7 wires that run to various points in the engine bay area and help to make a better ground connection. Do ya think that this will help at all?

It won't hurt, and our cars have some of the oddest problems when they have a bad ground, so it will help prevent that. If the price is right, go for it. Just don't go breakin the bank to buy something that 99.99% of us run without.

hmmm, it will be like 25 shipped. Cause i was thinking that since there are only 2 ground wires there then it would help a little to add some more. I was also thinking of putting the battery in the trunk but i'm not sure on that one.

There actually dyno tested, you honestly pick up HP. Maybe not the Ebay kits, which I have one, but the real kits. The Ebay kit is quite nice and worth the money, you couldn't buy the thick wire and connectors for what you buy it for.

Looks good. Any decent sized wire will help but again, you can't go wrong for $7,

Looks better quality than the one I got for $10, lol!

The purpose of the kit is to ground out your engine and chassis better. So I would run a chunk of welding cable from the battery to the engine compartment, then attach the main piece of the grounding kit there then attach all the wires to the various points.

if i were to put the batt in the trunk i would run a few grounds in the trunk, then 00awg wire to the engine bay with a few more grounds in there.

All you need is amp cable. Its the same stuff, oxygen free cable with crimped ends. If you do any custom stereo stuff, use that and save the money. Or try a car audio shop and see if they have any scrap. Done deal.

I picked up a topline engineering grounding kit for my stealth it looked great but didn't go to big grounding block like the one you're getting, that looks nice, but think it would of been better if you just made your own that went from one head to the other head, the head to the block, one from the head to the altenator, another one from the alt to the chassis.

As for the battery, i just used a Summit racing reloacation kit that came with everything, its great, and been using it for over a year, the ground just ties to the chassis and that is comarable to a 00 wire. For 50$ it really couldn't be beat. Using my Optima Red top 900CA and never worrying about corroded battery terminals is priceless!

Guys, don't bother with eBay, FWDP sells a grounding kit for $21.

I am looking for gray interior trim for a J-body (1987-1989) LeBaron coupe hardtop. If you have anything please PM me before throwing it out. I am also selling tan trim if you're interested.
