'88 Daytona wipers don't go to the park position when you turn them off. Any ideas how to repair?
TIA,
Dallas

Do the Intermittant Wipers function properly?
Also check both External Grounds on the Wiper Motor.
Is the DB Wire at the Wiper Motor Connector Hot all the time, only with Key ON and Wiper Off or only with the Wipers Running?
There are 2 Park Positions,1 for Intermittant Wipers and 1 for when the Wipers are Shut Off.
The Park Switch is part of the Wiper Motor with the DB Wire being P1 for shut down and the DG being P2 for intermittant wiper operation.
Control of Park comes from the Wiper Switch :
P2 is the DG and also splits to the Intermittant Wiper Control Unit.
P1 (Wipers Off) is the DB and runs straight to the Wiper Switch,it also recieves Power from Fuse # 11,20 Amp.

This Wiring Diagram is not really to my liking,it looks as though the there should only be power present at the DB Wire at the Wiper Motor Connector when the Wipers are turned off.The Best that I can tell Power on the DB Wire Pulls the Park Switch Closed and the Wipers should Park. Not 100% on this.
Would appreciate you letting me know as you diagnoise so I can make notes on the Wiring Diagram.Thanks.
