the 87 under hood map has C B A on the side. i found the plug that has C B A on it. the prongs match up but it wont plug into my new map sensor because of the plastic of the plug.

i know i have to run the wires on the other end of the plug to the computer but now i found where the map goes but cant plug it in.

i have never done this so sorry for the stupid questions.

No such thing as a "Stupid Question"
Where did you get the Map Sensor and Connector?

Was the Harness you are using from a Turbo Vehicle?
I would call FWD Performance and let them know the problem you are having and see if they can sort it out.

Im assuming its a 3bar MAP?

If it is you will need to modify the A terminal by cutting out an opening on the side...

Pic included and a helpful link... GM 3-Bar MAP

Hope this helps...

That pic and link are perfect. Thank you.

One thing. That connector in your hand right there is supposed to be a male connector with 3 prongs(pointed) correct? Because my plug the same one that is in your hand, has 3 female connectors in it. The connector that is in your hand plugs into another connector, and that connector has the male 3 prongs(pointed) in it. That end cant plug into my 3 bar map sensor because of how the plastic is. Theres no way i could plug it in with how the connector(not the one in your hand) is set up.

It is reverse for some reason or somehow the two female connectors can plug into each other.

Thanks for the help.
I took a picture but i dont know how i can post it in a comment?
