Here are Chryslers diagnostics for T-3 "Repairing Fault,Radiator Fan Relay Circuit".
Turn key on, with the DRB (scan tool) actuate the radiator fan relay.
Is the radiator fan relay clicking?
YES, Perform Test DR-36A
NO...
Disconnect the radiator fan relay. With a voltmeter probe the DB wire in the radiator fan relay. Is the voltage above 10 volts?
NO, repair the open DB wire.
YES, turn ignition off, disconnect engine controller and inspect the connector. Is the connector condition ok? Repair as necassary.
With an ohmmeter probe cavity 31 in the engine controller connector and ground.
Is the resistance below 10 ohms?
YES, repair the DB/PK wire for a short to ground
NO, Test the resistance of the DB/PK wire.
Is the resistance below 10 ohms?
NO, repair the open DB/PK wire
YES, reconnect the radiator fan relay, with a voltmeter and key on probe cavity 31 in the engine controller connector.
Is the voltage above 10 volts?
NO, replace the radiator fan relay
YES, replace the engine controller
TEST DR-36A "Intermittant Test For Relays and Solenoids"
Turn ignition on,with the DRB erase faults, with the DRB actuate the intermittant solenoid or relay.
While actuating read the secondary indicators, wiggle the connector at the intermittant solenoid or relay, did the fault indicator return?
YES, repair the wiring or connector defect at the solenoid or relay.
NO, wiggle the harness between solenoid/relay and engine controller, wait 5 seconds before moving to the next section of harness.
Did the fault indicator return?
YES,repair the harness where wiggling caused the fault indicator to return.
NO, test complete.
