My ant. doesn't raise up when you turn the radio on. Are they bad about breaking? Is it on a fuse by its self? I didn't get a owners manuel with the car. THANKS RONNIE rfralicks@yahoo.com

The tape that drives the mast up and down likes to break over time. The solution is to disassemble the antenna to pull out the broken pieces and replace the mast. You should be able to locate a new mast at the dealer, or there may be some up on eBay. I have two power antennas myself needing that operation

If you can't hear the antenna motor running, the fault could be due to the relay not turning on (if the car has Infinity you will also get no bass as the woofer amps run off the same relay), or the power antenna motor itself going on the fritz. One of my power antennas is a little flaky - it won't run sometimes until you smack the fender nearby.
