I have a digital dash and I would like to install it into my 85 GLH... Any information available for this swap out there?

I found this, Directions on Putting a Digital Dash in a GLH-S, but I still don't understand it... TIA

What are you having troubles with man? I know I have read over it quite a few times and have thought about it personally, I know that the dash is relatively expensive that is why I have not done it.

I wanna do the same thing for my 85. From the picks, looks like all the cutting will be on the backside dash area. I don't know if the dig cluster can directly accept all the gauge inputs, but I don't remember seeing any conversion info for the signals. Maybe Dodge intended them as a direct replacement/option? That would be nice.

From reading it again, it does not look like you would have to cut into the dash, you would just have to cut down the circuit board

Yah, it looked like the guy that posted that thread was right about in the same place you are, not wanting to alter the actual dash, just so if he didn't like it, he could just go back with no problem

If I don't have to cut the dash, im up for giving it a try.

Anyone done this yet that could give me step by step instructions so it ends up working like I hope?

looks easy, he's got all the gauge pin outs there. looks like to me he took the guts out of the dig dash and put it in the omni cluster shell. you wold also have too run a extra wire for the speedo because the omni is cable driven.
