Nope, get a Mopar Performance computer or get one from Welcome to FWD Performance, Inc.

the sbec replaced the smec in 1990. the 90/91 is the SBEC I while '92 and later cars used the SBEC II. so your car can only use an SBEC series 1. you also need to pay attention to what engine and trans combo you have. a 5spd car really needs the more aggressive idle programming and there have been a lot of stalling problems using a calibration for an automatic.

2.5 TBI - auto
2.5 TBI - manual
2.5 T1 - auto
2.5 T1 - manual
2.2 T3 - manual
3.0 V6 - auto
3.0 V6 - manual
3.3 V6 - auto
3.8 V6 - auto

there was also a 2.5 mpi (non turbo) in mexico from 1990 on. it uses the same intake setup as a turbo car and the same wiring harness, but the computer has a different calibration. fwdperformance.com sells modified computers with their own (more aggressive) programming for different applications. i plan to run a mexican 2.5 mpi setup on my 86 k wagon so i'm gonna use all the 90/91 specific harness and have a turbo computer socketed so i can download whatever program i need into it. it will make a turbo swap very easy down the road (if i decide i am making enough money to afford premium gas at that point).

you will want a sbec from a 90/91 t1 car a t2 car would have a 2.2. if you need one, let me know there is one in the junk yard from a 90 es t1 shadow, i plan on grabbing the wiring harness also.
