I got a 2 button traveller out of the junkyard from a Spirit, for our 89 Spirit. I cant find the connectors in our car though. Are they just tucked away deep behind the dash somewhere or do some cars not have the wiring?

If the wiring isnt there can I go back and get the pigtails out of the junkyard car and wire it up myself? Im capable, just need to know if the car basically outputs the data the traveler needs. I could probably steal +12v, acc, and ground off the stereo.

Did you get this from a 89 spirit? Or was this from a 90 and up spirit?

Did you snip the connector from the junkyard car? If you didn't, I would go back and look at the connector, or determine the year of the car. I'm not sure about how the spirits are, but in Daytonas and Lebarons, from 1990 and up, the travelers get all their input from two BUS lines from the BCM. Every traveler from 89 and below I believe used analog inputs with a buttload of wires. If you only have a few terminals for the plug on your traveler (like 5 or 6) its probably a 90+ unit. I've never looked in the back of a 12 button traveler, so I'm not sure exactly what kind of inputs it really gets.
