what would be some suggestions in either replacing the computer or beefing up the computer in a 1994 3.0L

No can do.... No vendor sells performance cals for the 3.0L & there's no custom tuning available for them. We 3.0L people are SOL in that department.

My suggestion would be to get started on a spare and see how well you can tweak it or destroy it
