Odometer Gear

My odometer stopped working on my 89 lebaron (analog gauges) but the speedometer works. I have been told to replace the gear in the speedo and I went to order it on line but do not know how many teeth their are. Does anyone know off the top of their head? I believe it is a 20 tooth. Just do not want to have to tear it apart and put it together again so I can drive it while waiting for the part. Thanks

i have a 91 daytona shelby and it the odometer didnt work when i first got it and then it worked off and on since. i was having some other issues with the other guages so i tore the dash appart and cleaned everything with contact cleaner including the odometer/speedometer by just spraying it in the little motor. it worked for 26 miles after that and then stoped again. it jumps about .2 miles every once and a while. this dosen't seem like a gear problem. i looked at it out of the cluster but i didnt want to take off the face. i saw a green colored gear that looked like it could be the odometer gear and it was in good shape. if someone could tell me if that is the right gear that would help me out. if it is i bet it is bad solders because that has been the main issue in my dash.
