Adapting Fuel Injector Harness from 89 smec to work on 92 sbec2?

I have a 1992 Dodge Daytona IROC originally a V6 but is now getting a 2.5 turbo swapped in- I have the correct computer (SBEC-II) and wiring harness from a '92 2.5 turbo car.

The 2.5 turbo is coming from a donor '89 Chrysler Lebaron (SMEC), of which I have the entire car for parts (engine, trans, wiring, etc).

After getting things mostly swapped, I am now realizing that the Fuel Injector Harness is not compatible. As you can imagine, finding an injector harness for a '92 is nearly impossible...

I would like to adapt the existing '89 harness to work with the '92 SBEC-2 computer...I do not mind using the old SMEC style connectors to make it physically connect, but I need to know what changes need to be made to the harness itself for this to function correctly...

Any advice or diagrams would be greatly appreciated!

just use the smec from the donor car. its calibrated for that engine anyway.

92 is sequential fire and 89 is batch fire.

It will take a LOT of work to get it working.

Why is it alot of work to get it going? wouldn't adapting the entire smec harness be alot more difficult seeing as how the bulkhead connectors are different, as are the auxilary connectors under the dash and the connections to the rest of the engine that are already SBEC style (coil, solenoids/relays, etc..).

In theory I should only have to add two wires to this harness to make it work- the fuel injectors have the same part#'s for '89 as they do for the 92.

does anyone know if I can use a harness from a '90-91 sbec1 2.5 turbo? were they the same in these years?
