Knock sensor info

Hello TD'ers


I was planning to install an Alky/Water kit on my car, and I think it can be activated upon the knock sensor input, acting like a switch (too much noise/knock and it will be sprayed)... so the question is, does the stock knock sensor would need to have a 0-5V output or a 0-1v or something like that ?

If so, does it give higher voltage with higher knock? or how does it work.

I will appreciate any comment.
