12 button navigator replacement buttons

I need replacement Switches. I found a post on the item. I called the Chrysler Electronics 800 # and gave them the Part #. they told be about four years ago Chrysler was sold and the new owners will not let them sell the parts to the public. they would place the switchs for $159.00 plus S&H.

Does anyone know a place who have them? I called mouser who said they have one that may work. it sells for $4.59 each.

The Chrysler Part # 4233906.

I have been using a pencil to replace the carbon on the little rubber center of the buttons. it works for about a year. I now have 3 switches the rubber is shot.

does anyone have a replacement info?
