Just wondering how to check with this. I may have the problem of using the smaller quick tool version but don't know where to plug in if it even does? I have access to the original scanner as well but just trying to fix my airbag light that keeps coming on and going off occasionally

Do not know if the aftermarket scanners will have that cable available or if they will even access the SRS system on your vehicle.
That is the problem with aftermarket scanners, they are not able to access all systems on all vehicles.
If you only have a code reader that is only made for powertrain code retrival.
I never even looked to see if we have that cable for our DRB2 or DRB3, never even knew that the diag connector for SRS was there, I always thought the SRS was accessed thru the CCD Bus Connector under the dash which is another cable needed.

I have tried with my snap on scanner the airbag uses the same scanner adapter plug as the body computer uses. The vans module was on the floor in the center of the van and the daytona is on the right side of the console. I have never been able to communicate with the air bag with a snap on scanner. Never shows a menu I have talked with fords and chevys but never a mopar with the snap on scanner.
