I was under the front of my csx this morning installing a new front motor mount and noticed that on both sides of the car coming out of the harness for the parking lights, about where the bumper supports are, there were plugs. Does anyone know what theyre for? Could they be for Fog lamps. I dont have the Fog buttons in my center dash so Im not sure what they could be for. All my parking lights and blinkers work.

If they are 2 pin connectors they are for fog lamps, they used the same harness's for vehicles with/without fog lamps.

Cool so if I were to get ahold of some fogs off another car would they work? I mean would they come on when I turn my parking lights on or is there more wiring needed?

You would need the fog lamp switch, relay, and not sure if the wiring runs to the cluster on an 89 or not without checking the wiring. It may only have the underhood wiring and not the interior wiring, i can post the wiring for fog lamps if you like.
Not sure on an 89 but my 90 fog lamps only come on with the headlamps(low beam), you cannot turn them on with the parking lights like GM.

I might look into that in the futlure, sound interesting. I saw a shadow with fogs at the local yard a while back. Thanks for the info
