The "power loss lamp" illuminates when there is a problem in the computerized control system.
You need to retrieve the fault code(s) so you can see which system is involved and perform diagnostics.
You can do this without the use of a scan tool.
Turn the ignition key on/off, on/off, on, the power lamp light will start to flash.
You have to count the flashes which are fault code numbers.
All codes are 2 digit numbers.
The lamp will flash the first digit in a longer, slower flash, then the second digit in a shorter, faster flash, it will then move on to the next code if there is more than one.
Example, code 24, two longer, slower flashes followed by 4 shorter, quicker flashes.
The last code you will get is code 55 which is end of message meaning the engine controller is done communicating with you.
Post your 2 digit codes and we will go from there.

Code 23 is Air Charge Temp Sensor Circuit.
The ACT sensor is located in the intake manifold.
I will post diagnostics if nobody beats me to it when I get home, right now it is off to work.

The ACT(Air Charge Temp) Sensor has a 2 pin (2 wires) connector. The wire colors should be BK/LB (black/light blue) and BK/RD (black/red).
Disconnect the sensor connector. With the key on/engine off using a digital voltmeter probe the 2 terminals in the sensor connector (harness side). If you read 5 volts the wiring is good, replace the sensor. If it does not read 5 volts post back with your voltage reading and I will tell you were to go from there.
