87 Shelby Daytona Headlight Module Removal

How do I remove the headlight control module? My headlights are stuck in the up position and I cant get them to go down other than manually. I have read it comes "out the top" but that makes no sense to me. Thanks in advance.

remove the dash cover I believe it pops off.

the headlight relay is directly under the actual front dash? take off front, remove top, and relay is right on top?

oooooh they are SNEAKY. the entire top cover just pops right off. half an hour of getting bezels off to see how to get in..... that was NOT expected.
