People keeping their cars too clean.. If you let a little dirt and sludge built up, theyll work just fine!

Odometer dont work, does the speedo? trip miles?

Headlights dont go up/down.. can you hear the motors working? if not test to see if the motor has power when you turn them on- if not, its common for the headlight switch to malfunction somehow.

The headlight module in the center of the dash has died.

Give your dash a solid thump with your fist in the center. Sometimes they come back that way. Course they'll still be flaky, but if you're stuck somewhere at night with no lights...

Failing that, there is a relay box bolted into the center speaker hole of the dash. Pry the top dash cover off and you will see it immediately. There is a wiring harness connector underneath.

You could always manually open the headlight doors D-Cal, no need to be "stuck" somewhere at night with no lights...

I resolder every connections on the headlight control module, which is in the center of the dasy, and my head lights works again. It'll take you half an hour and it'll only cost you time and maybe $1 in soldering. I spent more time taking the jelly stuff off than anything else. Do a search for headlight control module and you'll see it is a common problem.

My analog odometer stopped working, so i just convert to a digital. Greats and looks great .

well i've never done it, but looking at an extra one i have here, i would take the side with the hole and harness connection on it and with a knife, slowly score the sides. You will notice if you look hard that the side with the hole, is glued on to the rest of it probably with that gooey stuff...good luck
