hey guys merry christmas! any hoo, heres my dilemma.

Im changing the tailight housings in my spirit over to lebaron tail light housings, problem is that spirits have 1(upper) bulb for tail and brake lights and a separate(lower) bulb for the signal light.
The Lebaron taillight only has one bulb to control brake, signal, and tail light functions.

How can I wire this whole schmozzle together to make it work, I understand the acclaims are wired the same as the lebarons.
Can anyone thro some ideas my way? It would be greatly appreciated

I would go to the junk yard and try to snag the wireing harness. I have actualy thought of swaping the lebaron tail light setup into my Spirit ES. Though I should get it running before I get that far ahead of myself.

you will need a converter box that you use for trailers. the ones i usually use are from uhaul. get one that doesn't require its own power to it. most of them you will have 3 wires on one side, 2 on the other. come will have 4 and 3 because they want you to run the park light wire through it too. this is not needed. you will run the turn signal lights and brake light feed into one side, and from the other side, you will go to the lights that will now be both turn and brake. keep in mind also, the converter boxes are never the best made thing, and quite often i see them last about a year before problems occur and they need replaced. then of course just run the park light feed to the bulb like it should be, if it's not already there.
the difference lies in the turn signal switch. if you h ave the combination brake/turn lights, your turn signal switch will get a brake light feed up to it also, and send it out to the bulbs. that is why switching the harness won't work
