Okay, just did the 5 speed conversion to my mini. Putting the column back in there is one plug I can't find a home for. It is a 4 wire ribbon yellow-green-blue- white wires about 22 gauge coming from the column to a connector like a small blade fuse. Where's the friggin thing go? I'd like to finish the interior tomorrow, but I gotta find out where the darn plug goes. Thanks much~~Heath

Bump chiggy chiggy Bump bump.

It looks like the speed sensor wires for the cruise, and it looks in the haynes manual like it shoudl go intot he same bulkhead as all the other wires. Can anybody confirm this? ~~H

I think,when i just took my thing apart a few days ago, that that wire wasn't connected o anything. Not sure on that one though.

Yup, I found it the other day. It is a small blade type connector at the end of 4 wires as described above. the thing it goes into is a black connector with a white clip, goes in kinda weird. But it works. Now I just have to hope the battery isn't dead. Lit up the lights really well, but wouldn't turn the motor over. Oh well. ~~Heath

Did you rewire the netural safty switch? if not thats why it won't turn over
