Anyone figure out how to make cruise work again after doing a 5 speed conversion? What wire to cut/splice/whatever? ~~Heath

sounds like the speed sensor may be your culprit.. as this is the only part that would be effected by your converson or possibly you accidently disconnected or damaged some wiring when you did the swap.

Heath I am sending you a PM with my cell number on it. I can explain it better over the phone then putting it here. Mainly because I dont know how you did the conversion.

It has to do with the clutch switch and the one grounding which is also used for the allowing it to start.

Note that the brake pedal switch is different between cruise/non-cruise cars. If you swapped it from the 5-speed car and it didn't have cruise, then that's your problem.

I just thought that it wouldn't work, I haven't tried it yet. I read on Gary's site that there would be a problem, I guess not. ~~Heath
