Sunday I put a new radio in the car so I dug around trying to find my traveller plug. I searched high and low and could not locate it. Can someone guide me to the light and give me a description of where the plug is located. Car is a 1986 lebaron GTS.

Probably isn't there, then.

Typically it'll be taped to the wiring harness in the vicinity of the radio.

mine was buried and taped to the main harness towards the passenger side, just look for some rotted out tape on the main harness and you'll see the plug

That's assuming the plug is there at all.

Not all dash harnesses had 'em. I know my '88 Lancer didn't, so I had to wire it in.

Easy way to tell on SMEC cars is to check for the "fuel usage" signal wire on the bulkhead connector. If it's not there on the dash side, the connector isn't there either.

Use a compact mirror and stick it back there, that's how I found mine in my first car.. :-)

Mine is twisted over the wiring harness over the drink holder. You roblably won't find it without pulling the glove box.
