I fried a new LM from FWD because my old one had fried. Im guessing that I am grounding out somewhere and I think its on the blue connector of the LM. I need to see if anyone can shoot me in the right direction to figure out what is up. I am going to buy a new harness from a guy on turbododge but i would like to see if i can find the problem first.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I hooked up the LM to the car and turned the key to on with the card out of the LM. I grounded my meter and tested the blue connector got these results:
5.0V power supply to TPS- 6v
Direct battery feed (via power module)-10v
A/C cutout relay output-10v
Power loss lamp output -7v
Canister purge solenoid output -9v
EGR solenoid output -9v
Power ground source from fuel rail bolt -ground
Power ground source from fuel rail bolt - ground
Not used -5v
Not used- 5v
A/C damped pressure switch signal -5v
Park/neutral safety switch signal -ground
Brake switch signal -nothing
Transmission read switch signal -nothing
Not used - 5v
Not used - nothing
Fuel injector sync sensor signal -nothing
Oxygen sensor signal -nothing
Not used -3v
Battery temperature sensor signal -4v
Throttle position sensor (TPS) signal -1v
Voltage regulation sense signal -11v
Coolant temperature sensor signal -5v
Detonation sensor signal -12v
Air charge temperature sensor signal -5v

Double check your ground at the fuel rail. I fried one myself because I didnt have the ground from the firewall hooked up to the fuel rail. Its better to have the ground from the firewall on the same bolt as the ground from the fuel rail harness. If it did the same thing as mine did, all you have to do is replace the fried resistor in the LM and it will work fine again. I really have thought about running a ground directly to the firewall or somewhere directly for the LM. Its seems kinda retarded to have the ground bolted to another groud to keep from getting a floating ground.
