I buy all of my other parts from FWD performance, but im concerned about buying a computer when according to the company website their products are sold as is, and its very possible for a computer to be damaged in shipping. The only problem with saying a swapped in an 89 daytona engine is i think they would tell me i had to have a 89 daytona computer as well. Im guessing they may not even notice though, becasue i know 2 people with engine swapped volkswagens that passed just fine.

IF, IF by chance you have a problem with it, I am pretty sure she will work with you on it.

Well, after you wait 8 months for a cal from TU, if it isn't right, you get back in the 8 month line.. Ask Simon.

Hmm, as long as theres no problem replacing it if it doesnt work (i mean doesnt work at all, not just something isnt quite right) i will probably buy one from fwd performance then.

i dont believe he was trying to start drama... just stating a fact. and that fact is, paul has been overwhelmed with orders, and, well, a cal isnt something that is just plug and play... unless your plugging it in and then playing with it to fine tune it, other wise you have to get in line.
ive had nothing but good dealings with tu. and if i dont learn to try, and do it my self, i'll be going back to the vendors for a cal, but which one is still up in the air

oh, and the "sold as is" is because it is modified an may or may not pass emmisions (ie.. street legal, which can usally be taken care of by an afpr) all vendors will work with you on fine tuning, it just takes time, so i suggest keeping, or getting a stock cal as back up, everyone should have one of these
