I can't seem to find any contact info for TAFT, such as a website. The link off of Gary's site doesn't work.

Does anyone know anything helpful?

Yeah I've been trying to find their site for quite a while now with no luck. I guess they don't maintain a site anymore???

I don't think Nic Kuehn does the TAFT thing anymore.

Mike and all, TAFT is still supplying camshafts to www.fwdperformance.com

We are currently working on a new camshaft that will hopefully lay to rest the 88 EFI roller cam. ..... or provide an improvment on one of the current camshafts. Stay Tuned.

Ken, Ken, Ken

You are correct! Maybe I should shut up...... I get in trouble when I do speak. I can say that although we have been working for some time to find an alternate for the 88 EFI cam we just haven't been content with the specs considering that the factory roller works pretty damn good for most applications with few modifications. The S1 still works great for auto cars though.

We are closer to introducing a cam that will get rid of the urge for people to go out an d buy those short lived slider high lift cams, if that helps......

Yes, that would help

I had the S2 in & pulled 313whp/285ft/lbs @ 21psi with pump gas, I'm going back today with the '88tbi cam, that's the only change, I'll let you know later how it compares.

Nic... I know you don't want to get ahead of yourself....l but this is what you get for taunting us! Will this cam be something that would be reccomended for high boost? (if 25psi is high for some) Or... more around the 20psi mark?

OK, I'm back & the results are in... On my (2.2) set-up with absolutely no changes from the previous dyno runs, after adjusting the fuel psi., timing & the cam timing(centerline), my best pull compared to my previous best pull, the '88 tbi cam made 12whp LESS than the Taft S2 cam & the torque stayed about the same.

Best pull today('88tbi cam)...301whp @ 5710rpm
287ft/lbs @ 4640rpm

Previous(Taft S2 cam)...313whp @ 5860rpm
285ft/lbs @ 4460

ALL pulls done @ 21psi with pump gas

Fuk this roller cam BS, next up, S60 cam

Patrick, Were you able to play with the cam timing any? I suspect the S60 will be similar in performance to the S2 but durability is the big issue.

As for DC's ? - no plans to test @ higher boost levels.
