Hi, has anyone dealt with Turbos Unleashed and had a longggg delay? I ordered a pair of turbos on May 4th, 2005 and still don't have them. I paid by personal check so I understand that causes a delay. I checked with my bank and the check was paid out on the 11th. Another 14 days later and my order is still "pending". I called Chris a few days after it cleared and he said he would check on it the next day. I've emailed him more recently and still haven't heard back I finally called him again but got the answering machine. Has anyone else had this problem? Steve

OK, I just got in touch with Chris. He said the VNT's should be on the way. Apparently they were packaged two days ago but he hasn't had a chance to notify me being busy with the move (they're in a new location). Hopefully I'll get them pretty soon. Steve

Some stuff that Chris has might not be just off the shelf. I ordered pistons from him on March 26th and they just now went into the processing status. He told me that they took 6-8 weeks for them to come in so I'm not suprised. Everything takes a little time.

I ordered a new turbine housing and some other stuff from him like a month ago...still not here, but since they're moving i think everything takes more time than normal.
also called him a week ago and chris told me to send him a reminder mail, so that he can provide me with all the shipping info he has. still no info, but i think he's quite busy now.

keep me updated chris

OK guys, thanks. I had checked him out beore hand (never ordered from him before) and he seemed legit. Also Chris is very helpful and easy to talk to on the phone. I just got a little worried it being a month and all. Thanks for the votes of confidence. I'm sure my order will get here soon. Steve

The biggest thing you will find with all of the vedors is the lack of stock. When running small niche businesses, its hard to keep alot of inventory especially when its custom or high dollar. I think everyone, including Chris, needs to convey that to the customers a little more with a quick blurp in e-mail or something.

Just food for thought.

If by part you mean cal, it's because he didn't know when I'd be getting through the cal backlog, and for that matter I don't even know yet. I'm working on it though and setting my sights on SDAC. I'll make sure nobody gets held up from SDAC or the SDAC Dyno Day from lack of a calibration.
