I emailed them using the 'advertised' sales@FWDPerformance.com address and have not received an answer. This was 5 days ago.

It was a question about one of the items they have available and a question about combined shipping.

I've since had to get the part I was looking for from another source but still. If their contact information states that email is a 'valid' method of communication I would expect a reply in less than 5 days.

This is not acceptable to me.

I always call first, best source of communication when trying to get answers about parts(from any vendor IMO).

PM works pretty good, email... I havnt needed to attempt.

I called them today, but it took me all day to get somebody on the phone. I kept going into some answering service and you could not leave a message. I think I called about 10 times over a period of 6hrs and finally got an answer. Good luck.

Definitely call them. I ordered my parts on like a Monday, gave a credit card #, parts showed up the same week . Web sites are good for catalogs but you really ought to just pick up the phone and talk to them. Nothing but GOOD things to say about FWD in Texas.

I can appreciate the need to be out of the office but if a business relys on the internet for part of their sales it would have been a good idea to stateon the site somewhere that they are out of the office with instructions how to contact them. At the very least an autoreply email stating that they are out of the office and will reply when.....

By to get nothing at all just isn't the way to do business IMHO.

When I leave home for Carlisle I will have my laptop and a way to return emails. If I relied on my website and email for even part of my business then I would give the communication generated by that site a little attention if not a lot of attention.

Yes, I was out at sdac-18 and will be back in on the 30th.
BUT we do have 2 employees at the shop. All orders placed on line were processed and shipped while I was out. If you called, the cell service was hit and miss, as I was very busy at sdac plus sometimes I had zero recpetion. But I did take numerous orders over the phone during that time, that also shipped while I was out. I don't think it is necessary for me to announce everytime I am out of the shop, since others were there working. The only thing not answered in a timely fashion was email, and normally email isn't how we take orders, that is why we have on line ordering. But I apologize if some people were unable to order, and luckily I'm only out one week a year usually for sdac. But I'm glad another vendor was able to take care of you! BTW I didn't see a PM, I also check those periodically.
later,
Cindy
