Just to let the list know that I am now offering the front Strut Tower Brace for the Omni and GLHS. It is a beautiful part with a highly polished bar. It has steel rings and double welds for strength. The mounts are in a Shelby Blue color but are easily repaintaile if you want to paint them black.

I am currently working on a matching rear hatch area strut brace. If you have any input or know anyone that wants one, have them tell me what they would like to see.

Thanks!

Will it clear the ports(nipples) on the throtle body? Seems kinda close but would need a close-up shot to get a better idea!

if you flip the Lbody bar 180 degrees it'll move the bar back or fwd 3-4" depending on how you want it or need it. The strut brackets are just like the old Design and Fabrication bars, which looks like the one in the top pic with a round machined aluminum bar. I have a set of those. Looks like he went with the brackets and uses his own center bar.

Are the strut bars for sale on ebay the same as the strut bars for sale on your web site. It says the strut bars on your web site have been improved over the ones selling on ebay and I notice a price difference. Thanks.

I'm sorry if I confused you with that statement. What I meant by that is that I had been making them by hand myself and selling them off my old website shelbyzone, org until I shut it down and took a break fro personal reasons.

Now I am back in full swing with a factory making them for us but improved welds and better designs as well as lighter but stronger.

I sell the same exact bars from my website that I do on Ebay. I use Ebay to advertise them and get them noticed even though I make alot less.

So far everyone seems happy and I look forward to adding more Shelby dodge parts to offer for sale soon...

So buy one and improve your handling and good looks.

Why aren't the tabs welded evenly on the mounts? If you look you can see that the top portion of the picture has the mounting tab about 1" higher on the ring than the bottom.

I put this on my car and thought the frame was bent. It isn't anywhere near parallel to my firewall.

I don't see this on any of the other strut bar designs.

I asked before and never got a response. Why can't the bar be parallel with the firewall?

It may be that my eyes are getting bad, but it appears that they are using a longer (G-body) bar with different end-mounts for the L-bodies. Hence, it's too long and cocked on the mounting brackets. Just my impression though.
