Here's a couple pics of mine & my friends strut bars installed.

We did bend/flatten the bar down an 1/2" for better clearance.

I decided to remove my drip tray, where is gaboon altered his.

I gotta ask...

How did you bend/flatten the bar down 1/2"?

If you say you just leaned on it with the palm of your hand...

That would tell me ALL I need to know

It does flex fairly easy, but we actually used a hammer & a block of wood so we wouldn't damage the bar. It didn't take much to bend it.

dont judge so quickly. i modded the exact same style bar for a neon to fit my omni and noticed a HUGE difforence! the first quick 90* corner i took after installing it, i lifted my rear tire off the ground about 2" and slid the car around the rest of the turn. i have lots of other suspention mods, but i noticed a big difforence after installing the strut brace and THEN taking it for a rip with my other mods.

I noticed that the car in the 1st pic has a two-piece intake, and the 2nd pic has the one piece. Is it just me or is the bar in the 2nd pic look crooked? Anybody know if this would fit a TIII L-body with airbox? I've already removed the drip tray.
