wanted 2 let use guys know , just picked up my flange yesterday and had a chance 2 see the plenum assemblies . these r really Super nice units . it would b ashamed if we couldnt come up with enough people wanting them 2 make an assembly run worth while . time is money , this quality of workmanship is definately worth it !

Snow is starting to melt, so the daytona will be coming out of hibernation. Time to finish welding my floors/inner/outer rockers and drive it around a bit. I think I've put a whole 500 km on it in the last 3 or 4 years. It's also time to try a 2 piece upper plenum, maybe others would be interested since summer is on the way.

I got mine a few months ago and it looks great, all the snow is gone and taking the daytona out of storage this week, will be installing my plenum soon with the stage 5 computer, 3bar map and +40 injectors, now the only thing left to decide is where should I install the air intake temp sensor, on the plenum or on the intercooler tube going to the throttle body

Post pics of it installed. Are you pulling the head to install it. I'm assuming yes as swapping it in the car would be quite a pain as there is limited access to the bolts holding the two halves of the intake, althought with some gymnastics maybe it could be done??

Aluminum conducts heat really well, stainless steel is a very poor conductor of heat, it would help insulate the charge from the heat of the engine. It'd actually be a pretty clever trick. :)

I guess you could consider my intake a prototype of Adam's ;) Mines a tad longer but it should still accurately reflect installation and spacing. 'Scuse the nasty orange head, its a FAW swirl and the color keeps me from forgetting it.











No need to pull the head, theres plenty of room to reach all the bolts without too much drama.

Havent really had a chance to test it out yet. Runs extremely smoothly though.

If I was doing it over again I'd have a hole tapped into the firewall side of the throttle body plate for the vacuum nipple that feeds the brake booster. Would make the vac harness super simple and much cleaner
