Oh my, a plain lancer selling for over $1,000.. *finds a rope to hang with*

Good luck finding a mint car, they show up every once in awhile.. The sad thing is usually they are "mint" after people remove their modifications and claim its been unmolested.

Its getting very hard to find these cars, any model of TD, with low miles in good condition. I am either getting an Omni a Lancer or an Audi A4. I cant seem to find a good Omni at all and all the good Lancers are as expensive as a MUCH newer Audi...

Yes I temporarily crossed my "pinouts" (i.e. synapses). Not for long, but long enough to make a goof. Sorry for the inappropriate digression. Sending Email.
I'll be quiet now. - Andy

I have a buddy who's dad has one of the cleanest one's I have seen. If you are interested, I will get you an email or phone number. It isn't cheap, I think a year or so ago he was wanting around $5000. You might even look on here, if it goes back that far, because I believe I put it on here for him.

Sure! The reserve was set at 2900 and I asked if he'd take 2500 and he said yes. I am not sure I wanna pay 2500 for a "regular" lancer though...

Just a few years ago I had a car like that. Unfortunately, I modded it and then ended up selling it. I wish I had it now! Why does everything chrysler made in the 90's suck? If they made anything any good I'd buy that. They are forcing me to switch.

That's why I bought my Intrepid. Don't *have* to have a rocketship for daily duty, ya know? Besides, if I had been driving one of my TDs...not only would it have been rotted beyond belief, but I would have quite a few more speeding tickets.

You said you wanted a original unmodified unmolested non-rusted out car and here it is one with 40,000 miles and you don't want to pay $2500 for it?

You might as well say I want everything for free. It ain't gonna happen.

Sure, you want a nice car but you don't want to pay for one.

do you realize what the cost would be for the car you are seeking?????

i'd pay 10 grand for such a glh-t, if there was one, but have not seen one yet, well, not since 1988 i haven't.

No said I wanted a GLH in that condition. This isnt the car I asked for so I am not as willing to pay for it. For 5k I could get a Shelby Lancer in the same condition, a real numbered car.. and in fact I am considering that. I figure after I add Shelby Ground effects and have them painted (and the paint touched up on the car) I'd be 3/4 of the way to a real Shelby that doesn't need anything. Also, the 85 you showed me has a Red interior which I loathe. :( Also, its an Auto and I want a 5-speed. Lastly, it's 650 to ship it to me!! However, despite all that I am still considering it.

I just want the right car for a reasonable price. For example, I wouldnt pay 10k for a GLH-T in ANY condition simply because it isnt worth that much.

LOL. I guess I should stop looking at those Audi S4's then. My biggest problem with them is they are so damn heavy (3600 pounds) and get poor mileage.
