Seeing if there is any interest. I found a drag Regal here in Ontario that I would like to get. I am also open to trades as well. Prefer something that is finshed and open to just about anything that is pre '75, drag vehicle, turbo regal, mustang, etc. Try me. You never know.

I have sunk a tonne of money into this CSX to make it look and run excellent. Here is a list of mods done. I do not have any 1/4 mile times but with this combo, should run mid to low 13's with ease. Just passed an Ontario safety as well.

1987 Shelby CSX #657 of 750
'90 2.2L VNT block
523 trans w/ 3.85 GR
54 Trim S60 Turbo
ported intake and exhaust manifold
HUGE front mount intercooler
Greddy BOV
+40% injectors
255lph fuel pump
Accufab AFPR
FWD Peformance Stage 5 Calibration w/ 18 psi of boost
52 mm Throttle Body
Full 3" side exit exhaust
Autometer Lunar Gauges
JEGS Fuel Pressure Gauge
MSD Ignition and Shift Light
trunk mount battery w/ shut off
SRT 4 rims w/ KDW Drag Radials
KONI rear shocks
KYB struts
Mopar Performance Springs
New Decals by Positive Impressions
NEW Black w/ Blue Pearl Paint Job (3 weeks old)
SRT 4 short shifter
Solid Bobble Strut
Bogger Shifter Bushings

Here's a couple pics. I do not have the Shelby VC, one in pic was lent to me for a car show. That is the only Shelby item missing.

Car is located in Windor, Ont. I will deliver across to the Detroit area. Buyer is responsible for all Import stuff. I do have a name of a place, Best Importing in Flint, Mich. that takes care of everything.

Asking $4500 FIRM u.s.

I know of a few people around here that has done it already. You would have to check with your state DMV and see what is required as alot of states have didfferent rules and because this car originally came from the u.s., it may be easier.

You are probably right, but a Regal is something that I have always wanted. We will see what happens. Whoever does get this car, if anyone will definately have a beautiful CSX that goes like hell.

this is what I got off the us cosstoms sight...

The importer must be able to demonstrate to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that the vehicle model is either a U.S. version or that it conforms to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements in order to obtain CBP clearance. Valid proof of ownership, which is an original certificate of title, or a certified copy of the original must be also be presented to CBP.

A U.S. version vehicle is manufactured with a label in the engine compartment that states, in the English language, the vehicle conforms to all EPA regulations. If this label is not present, the importer will have to obtain a letter from the manufacturer stating that the vehicle conforms to EPA standards.

Vehicles manufactured to meet DOT Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) regulations will have a certification label affixed by the original manufacturer in the area of the driver-side door. If this label is not on the car, a manufacturer's letter will be required as proof that the car conforms to DOT safety requirements. If you are unable to demonstrate that the vehicle conforms to U.S. safety and emission requirements, you will have to import it through a registered importer. This can be very expensive, as the car will have to be reconfigured so as to be brought into compliance.

To import a (compliant)vehicle, an entry must be filed with CBP. To do this, you should declare the vehicle to a CBP officer when it first arrives in the U.S.(assuming you are driving the car through a land border) At that time, you will also need to present a completed EPA Form 3520-1 and DOT form HS-7 and the manufacturer's letter if necessary. You will receive the entry summary document CBP Form 7501 from CBP. This form is needed to register the car in your state of residence.

The importer is required to pay 2.5% duty, which is assessed based on the purchase price or blue book value. CBP may seize a non U.S. version vehicle falsely declared as a U.S. version.

so does your car have those 2 labels???

Well, thats ok, BUT this car was originally from the states and still has the u.s. cluster in it. All u.s. stickers are still on the car.
