Description: I have decided to part ways with my GLH. The car is an 85 GLH Turbo with 100,000 miles on the odometer. As the pictures show, the car is almost completely stock with no modifications. I bought the car out of New Mexico so it has zero rust anywhere on the car. I have been using this car as a daily driver all year and it has been a blast! I commute 70 miles a day and the car has never had a problem, I average about 30 mpg. Motor runs well, transmission shifts as smooth as 525 can, and the AC still blows ice cold with the original R12 freon. Turbo spools and boosts exactly as it should. The other day I crawled under the car and noticed that the outer CV boots have finally let go, so I have stopped driving it until I can get those fixed. With winter coming, I am going to need something that I can drive in the snow, and i'm afraid the Omni needs to go.
The Good:
Zero Rust!
Fresh Paint (including the bumpers and bumper ends, and the black trim that connects to the window scrappers)
New struts
New Fuel Pump/filter/pressure regulator
New 2.5" exhaust (recently added a Magnaflow straight through muffler and Flomaster cat converter, but they are not in the pictures)
New windshield
New headliner
New carpet
Extra insulation under the carpet to keep things quiet
All light blue interior plastic and vinyl has been refinished
Newer Z rated tires (have about 60% tread left)
New speakers
Boost gauge mounted to a-pillar, but it's easily removable and no holes were drilled to mount it
Headgasket and timing belt were replaced as preventative maintenance
The Bad:
While the paint job looks pretty good, they did not do much body work. So there are still a few very minor dents and dings that were painted over.
Passenger side window scrapper is cracked
Oxygen sensor needs to be replaced
Both exterior CV boots are split
Front grill has one tab that is broken
Arm rest is split
Rear seat needs to be recovered
Cracked dash pad (I have a replacement, but I have not got around to installing it yet)
Occasional puff of smoke on start up in the morning. I suspect it's valve seals.
The original seat covers are pretty dirty and worn, so I replaced the front seats with a really nice set of light blue cordory seats from a Shadow. The rear seat is still original and needs to be recovered. The original front seats will come with the car

I will be sad to see this car go, but it's time for someone else to enjoy it. If I could drive this car year round I would not be selling it, but I just cant make myself drive it in the snow. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country, so fly in and drive this thing home. I am asking $4500 for the car, but I am always open for offers. I would also consider a partial trade for an
SRT-4, so if that interests you, let me know and we may be able to work something out.
