Good luck, buddy. You can probably cut that 7g asking price in half and not be able to sell it. People do not want to pay a fair buck for a great car in any way, shape, or form.

I hear ya.....it's a shame that these cars arent recognized by the rest of the automotive world as being any more than economy,or throwaway cars.....
They are a blast to drive, get good mpg, and if cared for, last for years!
I bought my first Shelby car, an 88 CSXT, in 8/89, with 13k on it,and performed great for years and years. Sold it to a buddy in 2003, and it had 220k on it, and I had JUST replaced the factory clutch. When he sold it some 6 years later, it had 253k on it, and he had just pulled the factory engine to freshen it up.
As for this CSX, it has relatively low mileage on it, and is a low production #,
#27, so lower numbered cars dont show up for sale very often. Maybe one
day, these Shelby cars will prove to be good investments.... I know I would like to have a clean 88 CSXT, and a clean 89CSX to sit in the garage with this 87. Can't afford to have 'em all though, and would like to sell #27(and see it go to a good home where it will be cared for), to get going on another project......
BTW, your CSX looks super clean, GLWS!!!

Thanks for the props on my CSX, boss. Yeah, ones like yours and mine should sell up no prob, for good bucks, but as ya know, it doesn't happen. I want to get on to other projects once I finish moving, and it is really going to suck if I have to schlep my CSX along because people are too blind and too cheap to see a great deal right under their nose. Oh well, maybe we will both get lucky!

Debating right now on putting mine up for sale so I can purchase unstable bob's.....just not so sure I can get what I paid for mine after investing an additional $300 or so for a new fuel tank, sending unit, and tank straps. I paid $2700 for my CSX back in august. I might also put up for sale my current daily driver for the last 9 years....a 1990 Dodge Shadow with no kidding 342,000 miles but with this market I might have to pay someone to take that car. haha.

GLWS, these days, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to sell anything,
especially a car......
