1986 Dodge Shelby Charger - $1900

Category: Domestic
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1986 Dodge Shelby Charger for sale, in USA - Utah.

Asking price is $1900

This is my brothers 86 Shelby charger that I am selling for him. It was a project car until he had to move out state, so I'm selling it for him.

-Recent parts added-
Stock rebuilt 88 T2 motor with one piece intake
555 trans
G body rad/intercooler
87 T2 LM and PM
Fuel pump and filter
Fuel lines
Koni adjustable front struts (used)
Eibach springs on the front (used)
Axles
Ball joints
Tie rod ends
Slim radiator fan
Motor mounts
Braided steel turbo oil feed
2.5 inch swing valve
Talon bov
Front tires
16" pumpers with 4 CS center caps

So here's the story. We got the car with no motor or trans. We found an 88 Shelby-z that we pulled all the T2 stuff from. We ran into some electrical issues and never got the car n the road. I recently rewired and replaced the map and solved the problem. The car will start right up and will run and drive, but it really hasn't been driven other than around the block, so I'm sure it will still need some work. Exterior obviously needs to be painted, and it does have a couple door dings. Interior is complete, but shows a bit of wear. We replaced the dash pad and the steering wheel, but the seats are worn and need to be cleaned. Carpet has been replaced In the past, but needs to be replaced again. Floors are solid, no real rust to speak of. Drivers side door, and both rear quarters behind the tires are showing rust.

The car will need some exhaust work as it does not have a down pipe. I am including a 3" g body cat back exhaust if the new owner wants it. Car also comes with rear louvers. The only other issue I know of is that the gas gauge doesn't seem to work. Overall this is an awesome project that will only need a little work to get on the road.

Asking $1900 obo.

I know it's been a couple months but is it still for sale? And more info on the run-ability would be great!

Yes, the car is still for sale. The car will start and run just fine, but there are going to be a handful of things it will need before it will be roadworthy. It will need exhaust, and alignment, and some vacuum line cleanup at the very least.

Price lowered to $1600

Put a battery in this car and drove it around the block the other day. This car really needs a home. Price dropped to $1500 or would be willing to trade for a motorcycle or anything else interesting. Just dont want it sitting around when someone could be driving this thing.
