That is the baddest looking Omni ever...didn't it have a carbed HO engine?
What suspension did he have on it?
It had a 2.2 CB TBI backed by an A523. It moved out pretty well for what it was.

As far as suspension, he had the "now legendary" Tercel coilovers on it...

Think him and I and the rest of us are looking for one that points up for downforce. I love the spoiler on the Rally Omni. I'd like it moved back to attach to the hatch more though.

I agree. I think if it was located further down, it would look better.

heres what i did. i found a busted up carbon hood at the junk yard that they gave me for free, so icut it up and made a cool little adjustable lip spoiler. cars a bit dirty and still needs touch up and paint but you get the idea. i doubt the spoiler does anything, but it looks cool.

That look great! How many pounds do you think you saved by adding Lexan for the rear hatch? I'd love to do that for my charger.

Forget the back. Where did you get that front bumper and hood?

the front bumper is off an 80s VW jetta. i had to cut the bumper a bit and bring the bumper into the car more so it would fit over and still have a real bumper under it, but its only held on with 3 screws. it fits real nice.
the hood i made out of fibreglass by using the origional and them making a cowel out of styrofoam on it, then glassing over it... popped it off, lots ofprep work, and ta da! the new hood weighs 11lbs
the lexan probly only saved me 8lbs or so, all 3 rear windows are lexan.

well i got sick of my carbon spoiler so i did the same thing as that sweet purple car with a charger spoiler...
i think i modded it a bit more than he did so i could mount it a bit lower and not cover the hatch lock.
