Man, those new wheels look GREAT on your car. I'm thinking about getting a set like what I have on there in black on the Stealth. On the GTC I'm going to paint the painted pars black.

I hate brake dust.

just got this..

Man, I should really clean it up- I've got it at a friend's house till I get to it-
however, even after the job is done, I think the peeling paint will stay!

The previous owner told me that the bumper and the passenger side panel were the result of a horse kicking/sitting/something to it , but oh well, the damage is not that bad.

And of course the heart of the beast-

this first car is my car. 89 2.5 t1 gtc convertible

The second car is my dads 87 glhs with 42,000 oringinal miles and only a distributor and a fuel pump
have been replaced. My dad bought it new in 1987

This is an original csx vnt number unkown hit hard in the front. We have all the parts to put it back
together. Just not the time. Interiors perfect aswell as all the shelby stuff present just needs some tlc

86 laser xt, leather and t-tops 2.2 tubo automatic. The 150 dollar investment. New tires all it needs is a new rear bumper cover caut it has a rip in the conrner and could use a good buffing

91 3.0 daytona. Possible 2.2 tII car in the making as the guy we bought it from had this drive train for it because a new 3.0 had just been installed 10,000 miles ago and he had just blown the second transmission outa the car.

My moms 100 dollar convertible. Put a new head on it and it runs great. 60000 original miles

My latest:

Picked it up last January. Currently removing all the rust etc. Should be on road Summer 2008.

Oh it's an 85 Turbo Z with very few options but someone put a T2 setup from an 88 shelby model in it.

I didn't know the 85 Turbo Z came in blue. Is it a repaint? That looks more like the 90+ electric blue. Always did like the Daytonas in blue.

Wow good eye! Actually I believe it to be 1990 Miata 10th Anniversary blue. This car has been restored, partially, once already. Overall the paint isn't bad, but bubbling in places. It's needs a new hatch for sure.

Here's a few of my short-lived Turbo Z.

'86 Turbo Z

Sorry the pics aren't better. I picked this car up non-running with a busted rear hatch glass. The shop had tried to put a 555 in it as a "stock replacement" and didn't know why it wasn't matching up. I got the car for $150. I ended up trading the spare hatch that came with it for a good rear glass which I installed in the original hatch. Also, the car got cleaned top to bottom and I fixed a few little broken items, but I never even touched the engine. It sat in my garage for a couple months and I ended up trading it to a guy for my 89 Spirit. He took it home and drained 2 gallons of water out with the engine oil (the shop had left the oil cap off and it has the vented hood). But amazingly he put new oil in and it started! He said he needs to put a windshield in it still, but otherwise it's running and driving. Part of me wishes I had kept it, but the Spirit's engine is in my Daytona Shelby now so I'm happy with the deal.
